After purchasing my MPC 2000 XL 10 years ago for 800 pounds it still work....
LCD ......still going strong (needs a clean)
SCSI.....finally turned off that WHINEY hdd and replaced with sd reader (data error)
BUTTONS..... replaced buttons on M/board , now i can go up and down again
PADS.....oh well after 10 years of repetative drum beats wouldnt you need a rest
DATA WHEEL.... still working after being spun more times that a roundabout
NOTE SLIDER..if AKAI made sliders they would probably be the best sliders in the world
MIDI..... still amazes me how it can handle all that data
AUDIO...ooops i blew the OP AMPS oh well lucky i just bought an 8 out board.
MEMORY...when i was a lad i had a 386 sx 25 4mb simms now thats power!!!!!
Anyway the MPC is still the daddy of sequencers everybody has used one.
