Hammond to 2000XL Midi help

I'm trying to record from the hammond into a track on the XL where its set up with midi so the MPC triggers the keyboard. My only problem is that I don't know how to get the sound to come through into the MPC...I set up the keyboard through guitar cables into the record in on the XL and when i was using the 1000 I was able to go to turn the audio input on, but I don't know how to do this on the XL. Please help

im pretty sure the 2000xl cant be used as a thru ( if it can please some 1 put me on game) your gunna need a mixer of some sort to get both sounds to play .....either that or your other option is hook up your hammond to some sort of recorder via DAW, tape machine, adat, vcr etc etc any thing that can record a signal ... press play on your mpc while recording the hommonds performance on your selceted medium .. when satisfied resample what you recorded back in to your mp!!! thats what i do occasionaly
