Are you serious?

The post called "SERIOUSLY CAN WE GET A STICKY ON CARD READERS"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JESUS CHRIST!

Just make that topic a **** sticky already!

IF

YOU

DO

THAT

THEN

PEOPLE

WON'T

HAVE

TO

KEEP

POSTING

NEW

CARD

READER

THREADS

WHICH

POLLUTES

THE

SEARCH

FUNCTION

Is that simple enough? I am boggled by the fact that this simple thing is STILL not taken care of.

That's all. Rant done now.

yes im serious. what makes that thread any better than the other threads?

and im also serious, if you think it's such a big deal, why dont YOU compile the information, put it in a nice format, and maybe it will get stickied if it's good enough.

there's not one answer right now and from what i can tell, the solutions change daily. there's nothing to sticky (unless of course you make a badass post).

how you gonna **** at other people and then not do anything to help?

And to add to tapedecks post...

There's more than enough card reader posts in the forums to give you a good clue as to how to go about doing it.
All anyone has to do is search. Maybe searching is too hard?!? I don't know. But either which way, tapedeck hit the nail on the head.

finnegan, as I said in the original thread, if someone goes through the thread and creates an organised single post that people can get the main info from, I will gladly sticky it.

You seem to feel the strongest about this, so if you could pick through it all tonight and create a single post of all the pertinent info, send it to me via PM and I'll make it a sticky.

Blaow! Someone just got some homework...

In the mean time, you do know you can bookmark a thread if it's a **** to find all the time, right? :D

My points:

1 - people are constantly making new threads asking about the CF readers. This means that every time some yahoo posts another thread with CF/card reader/Flash drive/etc... it ADDS to the search return.

2 - Stickying the damn thread that I am referring to means that the people with the questions would(mostly) look in that thread before a brand new post.

3 - So I should go through all of it and organize it into a concise post because why? Because otherwise it would be disorganized? Um....

IT'S ALREADY WAAAAY MORE DISORGANIZED AS IT IS!

I have already installed mine. I did my work. I listed what I bought. There is mucho information in the thread. If YOU feel there is some irrelevant information in there why not use the mod power and delete the unimportant replies in that thread? The thread will continue to be posted under

BUT

one could search just that thread instead of the whole damn MPC section.

I am not going to bring it up again ok? It just seems stupid that the thread called "Seriously, can we get a sticky on Card Readers ?" that has 4 pages of people posting their experience and seems to stay on the front page ANYWAY is not stickied. I mean do you have to go on a quest or slay a dragon or **** a troll to sticky something? Is it REALLY HARD? Or is it a matter of selecting the thread, hitting a button, and being **** done with it? I mean I realize that this place has such HIGH standards and all that a slightly disorganized thread might make it hard to tell people to use the search function and make oneself feel superior, but really...

EDIT

Just to clarify. I HAVE a CF reader I installed. I DON'T need the info in the thread. I just THOUGHT it would make life easier on everyone.

You'd probably get better results if you didn't come off like an **** about it... :|
