Note off to Mono

Hello,

I recently changed from my MPC 1000 to the MPC2000 XL.
Everything is working fine except one thing which isn't working. I have a Kick Drum on a pad and can't change it from Note off to mono. The button is just on hold I can switch anything. With all the others it is working but not with the Kick, Snare and Hihat. I import the programm file by mpc editor and there I set the pad as mono but after importing still shows me Note off.

Can somebody please help me? It's getting really anoying to push the Drum Pads as long as the Drum sample goes.

usually if its stuck on 'note off' its because there is a loop set. go into trim screen and be sure to turn loop off.

just like tapedeck said - go to trim (shift+f5), then highlight your problematic kick drum sound. next step is to go to 'loop' screen - f2 as far as i remember. i'm pretty sure, that 'loop' option is set to 'on' if it's not, I've got no idea what is the reason. i wrote the instruction, because you're new to xl and i bet you don't know menus well. let us know if it helps
