MPC 2000XL / Saving A Program To Zip Disk

Hey Gang
I recently bought a ZIP drive and started loading it up with drum kits. I tried making custom kits and saving them as programs but I get the MPC cant find sounds message.
Here is how my sounds are organized.

Root -> Drum Kits Folder -> TR-909 Folder -> Samples

Also contained in the drum kit folder is folder of custom programs. Do you have to have all samples and the the program in the same folder for this to work?

yes. samples must be in the same folder as the program.
so if youve got yer pgm files in 'drumkits' and yer samples another directory down, it wont work.

when saving a program, you can do a save 'with sounds' or 'with wavs' that will copy the samples to the same place as the program file.

Thanks! I thought that might be the case. I was hoping to save space by not having to save with samples, but I guess thats what I'll have to do. Still beats flopy disk!
