Extreme stereo when sampling

Hi, I noticed recently my MPC had this problem: when I sample in stereo, it seems like my MPC pan things more than it actually is. For example, if on the sample the guitar is slightly panned to the left, when I sample it, it's panned on hard left.
I noticed it does it more when I sample from my computer rather than when i sample from my turntable.Anyone had the same problem?

no, i haven't noticed that, but maybe convert the stereo sample to mono... and pan the two files to your taste.
