having problems

i have my mpc 2000xl hooked up midi to my triton studio keyboard...but when i go out of seq screen and come back on the triton it clears the instruments that i was using...plus when i go to the track mute on the mpc its shows that all the tracks are unused....can someone help thanks

Have you gone through your 4 pad bank buttons which in this case will show all 64 different MPC tracks? You might have recorded on tracks 1 to 9 but only be looking at tracks 33 to 48.
Are you sure you are not looking at an empty sequence?
