Mixer to use with 8 Output Expansion Board on 2000xl

Hello,

i want to get a 8 Output Expansion Board for my 2000xl, but i'm not sure about the mixer to use with it. Maybe somebody can recommend an inexpensive one to use in my bedroom-studio?
I have a chance to grab a Soundcraft Compact 10 and i have heard a good comments about it, but will it fit wit 8 Output Expansion Board well?

the mixer you posted has only 4 mono channels, the rest are stereo channels.
I'd get a mixer with mono channels only, since it's easier to have to spread a stereo out on two mono channels than feeding two mono sources to a stereo channel.
depending on your budget I'd look for a mackie (eg cr1604 VLZ) or allen & heat )mix wizard) with at least 16 channels, you surely have or will have other gear you want to plug to the mixer.

Find a used 01v, the routing and effects really come in handy with the older MPs.
The TMD1000 is also a good choice and pretty cheap.
