mpc 2000 wav files?

I just bought a cd rom for my mpc 2000 and i bought a smaple cd with a bunch of wav files on it. I read on here somone saying that the 2000 cant read wav. files from cd is that true? What should i do, i purchased it but havent gotten it yet.

Think it should be fine as long as you're using OS 1.72.

oh btw...if the .wav files are in folders (on the cd) the mpc wont be able to read it. you cant look in folders from the 2000....

I have a cd-rom scsi and it reads the files, but I can't load them i get "wrong file format" what do I do?
