Freezes after loading screen

I have a 2000xl blue with a card reader installed. One day it froze up after the initial loading screen and it has done that ever since. None of the buttons or functions work after the loading screen finishes. Any suggestions? Is this some sort of OS related problem?

may also be something like a loose RAM chip... if reinstalling the OS doesn't work, you may need to bust out a screwdriver to see if the RAM needs to be re-seated or if anything else inside has come loose...

yo ive had this happen when i have the midi sync out turned on and its not connected to n e thing! straight freezes the whole shit ... i dunno if u been doin n e midi stuff but that could b ur culprit if so
