a long while back it caused my AVG to alert me to a possible virus in it.
It could have been a false positive due to the way it works though.
I'll stick with normal audio editors.

Hmm, thanks for the tip. I'm guessing false positive as well, but I'll give it a lookthrough just to be safe.

come on guys lighten up. :smoker:
its a tiny program coded by one dude and given for free for nothing other than the pursuit and proliferation of geekdom.

it is a really incredible program and does exactly what it is meant to beautifully.

try it!

I don't get it.

yer virus checker is whack

i find my brain is a much better virus checker than any program i've ever used. the only time ive come across programs with viruses built in was when i was f*kn with cracks and serials and all that jazz. i dont know you just get to the point where you can spot something legit or not.

akaizer is solid dopeness.

to me avg is obviously just producing a false positive. just a shame that it gave you a little paranoia in place of totally robotic classic akai timestretch jams  .

its all good homey but i can vouch for it - akaizer does not contain a virus and it is awesome.

I'm not paranoid at all, I like sound forge and I'm gonna stay with sound forge.

I mentioned false positive because I thought it's very possible.
I need to mention that I use my brain too?!? For real.

no disrespect intended - im hating on the culture of anti-virus in general, not on you personally.

and again soundforge and akaizer are apples and oranges. i aint trying to convert nobody - just saying if you had the chance to try it i think you'd be impressed with what it does*. i wouldn't say use akaizer for bread and butter timestretching - we are well beyond that these days. but for THAT sound, akaizer cannot be beat.
and it's fast.

NOOOOOOWWWWW I understand, no disrepect to you either man.
After reading that part, I get it now.

Virus' don't scare me, people who use the word "labtop" scare me.
