Free Memory Question!?

Hi,

I bought my MPC2kxl as an ex display item from a large shop. When I bought it nothing was mentioned about the memory already being upgraded but I am starting to think maybe it has been!!??

How can I check without opening it up?

When I goto shift & 3 to load it says

Free memory
snd= 32620k
seq= 2640k


Does this mean anything??

Any guidance would be much appreciated,

yeh u got 32mb.

you can also press shift '4, to access sampling screen, then press the orange button 'open window'.

Yeah, that "32K" is the max memory for the 2kxl, you got it already.
