Help !! what I must buy to have a complete MPC 2000 XL????

Could you tell me what I have to buy beside the MPC to have it complete?? I plan to produce house and tech house...

There are loads of diffrent options for setting up you mpc based studio check out the studio enviroments forum for more info re search all the forums for previous post which there will be lots.

here what i've got setup

mpc2000xl with
audio in connected to a dj mixer and turntable for sampling.
audio out connect to a "stereo" so i can here what i'm doing
250mb zip drive connected to my mpc via scsi
midi runnnig to and from the mpc to my PC with sonar software via a usb midi interface.
then i've also got a second zip drive on my pc so i can transfer sounds from pc and mpc for editing.
So that my setup up but there are cheaper way but I would highly recommend the zip drive for the mpc so you can save sound/song/pgms etc.

First step i would do is to max out the memory on the unit. As it only comes with 2mb, your sample time & sounds available will be pretty limited.

good point cyber, you gonna need the max memory for a workable setup see if any is for sale on the other forum on this site maybe ?
