Hey, I'm new on here and I need some help with my MPC 2000 Classic. Recently the right speaker output has failed. Sound still comes out, but it is very distorted. The left channel works fine. The machine powers up and boots up with no problems. When a sound is triggered, the right channel is very distorted and a continuous fuzz is emmitted through that channel. I have swapped out the cables and all of that, but it still does it. It also happens through the headphones. I noticed that when i remove the effects card the continuous fuzz goes away, but the sound still distorts through the right channel. These problems appeared at the same time, so they are definitely related, but for whatever reason, removing the effects card cures the one issue of continuous fuzz. I have made a demonstration video that can be viewed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXjKskrE2xI
The only other info that i can add is that i recently replaced the screen with one of the screens that MPC stuff is selling. I don't have the original screen anymore to test with. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
