I don't have the effects board but ....... don't you do this with FXsend when you are in MIXER???

You get it by reading page 131 xl manual.

maybe so, i wanted to mix the levels and eq externally w/ the effects on the 8-outs.. so this can't be done then?

bus your fx send to a seperate output on the 8 outs. what ever is free. then you can balance eq and whatever. press open windows when in the fx settings. and you can choose which outs and and what levels to send.

remember you only have 2 fx and 2 reverbs and they are stereos fx so u have to be work out what you wanna use and what you dont.
