I have got the gender adapter for my iomega Plus 100mb SCSI Zip and I have now got it all connected up sweetly...

When I started the MPC up with the Zip drive on I.D 6 like the MPC manual says, I get a error message saying SCSI connflict on I.D #6.

When I start the MPC with the Zip drive on I.D 5 it tells me that there is No Disk.... I can scroll through the Devices: SCSI-0 / SCSI-1 / SCSI-2 etc.....but I cannot seem to get it to read or detect the disc at all....

Has anyone got any ideas??

This is really pickling my cabbage now...

Any guidance would be much appreciated,

Bless

usually when it tells me that i just turn it to SCSI-7 then back to SCSI-5 and it loads up fine without the error.

make sure the zip drive is ON.

other than that im not sure man

Just to clarify, you can't turn ANYTHING connected to the MPC to SCSI ID 6. That's the MPC's ID.
