Watch that video again.

The video link penumbra.beats posted has more than enough detail on removing the Control PCB board. There are several screws to remove and then you need to unseat two cables to detach the board from the MPC. No soldering required.

If the video moves too fast for you, use the pause button on the player to stop it until you are caught up.

The soldering iron in the video is being used to replace the note variation slider, you do not need a soldering iron to remove the board.

All you need is to unscrew things, and unplug cables.

Look at the video, as said above, use the pause button, get a screw driver, and start pulling it apart.
