Error in song mode?

I chopped and sequenced for 2.5 hours. I go to my song mode to start putting ish together and while I'm in song mode an error message pops up and all of a sudden all these crazy numbers fill my screen with "HEADER, BAR, SEQ, MEMORY, ETC... under them in the f1-f-6 buttons. I've never seen this screen pop up before and I can't figure out how to return to my main screen. Anyone ever had this problem and know how to fix?

oh i forgot. i'm on the 2000xl.

Many of us have had this problem. It's just beats gone and you'll have to remake them and start from scratch. Reboot and if it keeps up you should re-install the OS. It could also be a corrupted file that caused the prob.

How much work have you lost? It is situations like this where you learn that you have to keep saving everything regularly. As soon as you have sampled, edited or sequenced something new make sure you save it before you go too far into the next stages with it.
