does any one know of any good ways of producing fat d n b breaks
on the mpc 2000
im tryin to get them to sound full and not so robtic
and were or how can i get the best samples of kicks snares bongos hat etc from for dnb thanks

in fact most of drum n bass beats are simply chopped breaks sampled from funk records or ne drum break , try dogsonacid.com or so , i think there are plenty of breaks for download .
just chop em in your waveditor and put them into the mpc .

breaks are my speciality

sample vinyl, cut up individual hits and sounds. create kits out of this.

mpc is great for breaks. if you are having trouble writing them slow down the tempo a bit, im assuming your tempo is around 138 for nuskool/funky and 177 for dnb

do some net search on ghost snares and rolling hihat techniques

breaks101... get into it :)
