Trim Mode

Is there a way to listen to just the highlighted sample in Trim Mode when adjusting the start and stop points. I always have to go into Zone Mode, set it to 2 zones, audition my start and stop points in there, then go back into Trim, set the start or stop accordingly and then Edit off the space.
Theres got to be a way in Trim that I can hear just the highlighted portions of the sample instead of: ALL/ZONE/BEFOR ST etc.

in the XL you should be able to just play the pad and it plays the new start and end point.

you should be able to go back to trim field and check it there try pressing play at the right corner i'm not sure cause i'm not at my mpc but that should work

No. Ares was right. The right corner(meaning F6) will just play all of it but the pads will play just the highlighted goods.
