syncing my MPC 2XL to new digi 002 pro tools rack version

I was wondering if anybody could walk me through the steps on the MPC side and Pro tools side that I need to sync the mpc to pro tools with pro tools as the master for tracking my beats from my Mpc 2xl. Could you take it step by step because i've never synced anything before. Preciate the help folks.

first u need to decide who is gonna be the master, if its pro tools, u just have to turn on midi beat clock in pro tools, and check the midi port it pro tools that u r using, than in the mpc, hold down shift/9 to go to the midi sync page in the mp, and where is says midi in select which port is connected to pro tools and set it to midi beat clock, make sure u have the right midi port selected....than goto the main screen in the mp.......hit play in pro tools and off u go,

i'm gonna make protools the master and the mpc the slave.......Do you know what I go into in protools to sync it with the MPC as the master.

All you need to do is set up the midi beat clock in PT. Search the manual. Also on the mPC you need to go into the sync menu and turn on mid beat clock syn. Its not complicated at all.
