looping bass?

how do you loop a short bass sound to make it sound like one elongated sound in the MPC 2000XL? I've heard of the crossfading technique but this cant be done on the MPC. what are my other options?

Have you read the looping and Soundforge tutorials on this site? All the techniques in these can be used on an MPC, although it's very hard to not get any clicks.
