ZIP DISK - TOO MANY FILES YET ENOUGH ROOM?

Just made a program on my PC for my MPC2KXL and tried to write em to my zip 100 drive. Said that there are too many files on the disk but yet there's at least 70 MB of free space. What's going on?

Any single partition can only take 500 visible files - this is a restriction of the FAT file system though, it's not an MPC fault. If you use folders I believe this will over come this problem.
