I don't see someone like Envision giving up the details, seeing as they possibly took it on from a commercial standpoint, most probably with a view to being able to profit from the exercise.

They might value their time taken to reverse-engineer it in $ terms, and might not be willing to share that info, due to their investment in the process so far, and desire to recoup their costs, by being able to make some money from sales of their solution.

We need someone to do it from the DIY aspect, so that they are willing to share info on how it is actually working, making it easier for someone else to take that, and if possible, come up with an alternative solution.

good thing is - we know its possible. dude sure talked a lot (the first thread was pretty much slagging off everyone that had come before him), but it sounds like he ended up hiring some other engineer to actually do the dirty work. to me that says, its possible, just got to have the motivation. and the engineer was likely paid for his. :mrgreen:
