Can anyone explain the in and outs for tap tempo function..the manual sucks but i know this is a helpful function and i often have problems with timing on my drum patterns making it fit to a sequence..will this help?.

you press the button on every beat, and it tells you the tempo, its just like the little bpm units they sell for 30 bux at music stores.

Use it as if you were tapping out a beat while listening to a song. You know 1-2-3-4.

Don't forget, there is also a setting that you adjust for different tempos. I believe that if you are using the tap tempo for faster bpms you need to adjust this setting for more accurate readings of your tapping. I don't have my MPC in front of me, but I know I saw this feature in the manual just the other day.
