MPC 2000XL stuck on 'wait.....' on start-up

Hi guys

I've purchased a seemingly perfectly working 2000XL about a week ago, and am now kind of panicking: when I booted my MPC today, it was stuck on a 'wait...." screen Whatever I do, nothing happens. I've no clue what might be the problem, and there doesn't seem to be a clear solution to be found on the internet. Please help!!

Ok, so I opened the thing up, and made sure all the connections of the floppy disc drive were connected properly (I figured that might be the problem when looking at other people having similar issues) and it was working again after that Lucky me. Hope this helps for other people having the same problem!
