auto loading aps.

at first i always saved single seq. and prog., so i started saving them as aps. no when ever i turn on my classic 2000, it auto loads the aps's, any way to keep it from doing that so i would have to load the aps, after i turn it on
the problem is when now that i have 5 or so different prog. loaded, when cycling through the sounds in my new seq. i have to cycle through every sound in all those programs instead of the one, and turning on then off doesnt help anymore

dont leave your aps. in the root dir of your disks. make sure each beats is saved to its own folder and all the associated files are within.

cannot read folders...
everything basically must stay in root..

I am having that same problem. I cannot remember what I named this beat i made the other day. It was hot as hell...

1. Put your OS on a separate disk from your songs.

2. I don't know if there is a autoload feature
on the classic or not, If so, find it and tun off autoload.
If not then goto line1.

This is a good reason to keep your internal floppy drive with the OS on floppy always in that, & have an external zip to load & save your work to.

What you might need to do is buy a fresh zip disk & transfer all the data from the one with too much aps autoloading, but don't save using aps this time. Then erase & re-use the old disk.

I normally partition zips into 4, put the OS on partition 1 & only use aps to save projects that need to be worked on simultaneously onto the other 4 partitions.
