So I put a cf card in my card reader in my laptop an I think the pins in te usb reader were damaged as it marked the cf card. Like a doughnut I put it it the mpc to see if it
Would work there an then I've **** my card reader in there to. Bent the pins on te usb reader an managed to back up my shit so that's cool problem is I tried to sort te pins on the mpc card reader an the card worked for a very short period but literally not even 5 seconds of usage in the mpc resulted in the card bein so hot I couldn't even handle it. Lol it was like I'd took it out the toaster an not a card reader!
Apart from me messin up the reader it's been great for years. I think I got it from either
Vst or mpcstuff, I forget which. I've ha a look an they do t seem to be on option anymore. After lookin at the sticky it looks like the atapi 741 is the only hot swappable alternative right now?
My mpc is runnin 1.14 so from what I read I'll be cool. So it's literally sortin out a power cable an a way to mount it. I was hopin to use my current damaged reader to mount the new on. Hopefully that may save havin to drill?
