Comparison between the MCD 2kxl and an Addonics CF card read

The title says it all: I have a mpc2000xl that I installed (successfully, I believe) an Addonics CF card reader into (the same one mentioned on the first couple of pages in the CF card reader thread). But I was wondering if the model MPC2000xl that has the MCD on it, what benefits does this model have over the modded version with the CF reader? It appears the MCD has a SD card reader as well? Are they hot-swappable? And Is there an aftermarket MCD drive one could install into the MPC2000xl that would be superior to the CF card reader? Thanks especially to any who have tried both versions.. ETC.. Please.. I did search and found nothing asking this specific question.

Well it's probably not that important since I've just completed installation of an Addonics CF reader into this MPC. It seemed to be the easiest and perhaps cheapest way to go. Still curious about the MCD version and its features, though.
