Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

As far as I can tell, this is what happens. When you format the ZIP via the MPC, the filesystem becomes RAW, thus making it impossible for XP to read or write information to it.

So, you use Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Disk Management and create a primary partition on the ZIP disk. Then you can format it with the FAT file system. Now XP can read and write to the disk...

The problem I have, however, is that now when I put the ZIP into my MPC's drive - the MPC doesn't find any files on it!

I have no idea why...

Any ideas?
