serious mpc problem!

i have used mpc1000 for 1 year but it had the claasic problem with the pad sensors,after 1 year i bought the 2000xl and it fitted to me perfectly but had some lines in the screen!i have changed the creen from an mpc2000classic but it started to have lines AGAIN!i really like the workflow of the xl but the screen problem is annoying.what do you suggest?to buy another xl or buy a 2500?(i really like the workflow of xl)Thanx!

You can scavenge a screen from an Akai DPS12. Need to mod the ribbon, but it's not hard. They can be had pretty cheap.

That or do what 313 studio tricks said "get a 2500 w/ jjos."

The 2k screen seems to be a lost cause at this point. Probably will be the death of a great machine IMO.
