Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hey there. I recently bought an MPC 2000. I turned it on and booted it up and everything worked cine, but the keybed didn't power up. After opening the unit and reconnecting the keybed the unit turned on and functioned fine. After playing with my new toy for 10 minutes I switched the unit off. I came back to the MPC maybe 20 minutes later, switched it on and the screen powered on but came up blank and the keybed powered on but did not progress like the OS had loaded.

I have opened the unit this morning, taken out the ram, unplugged and replugged all the ribbon connectors and the floppy drive and still nothing. the SCSI fuse is blown, but that wasn't an issue before.

Do I need to replace the screen or could it be a more complex ROM/motherboard issue?

If it worked
Then it works.

Perhaps have another look inside and make sure you left everything correct.
Not likely that a Mpc 2000 is going to work for ten years then stop just to spite you.

If you're loading from floppy disk, mine won't load in the cold weather, I have to leave it on for half an hour to get warmed up.
Then it loads.
Fuqknows right?

Hope you get it up and banging.
