help ! how to install os 1.2 without driver??

hi everyone

i'm upgrading my mpc 2000xl with a cf card reader because my zip driver is dead

the cf card reader only works on os1.2

so how do i upgrade my os 1.14 to the 1.2 without having a driver ?


i have maybe an option, but i don't know if it works : i have an mpc2000 with a floppy driver ,can i install it on the mpc2000xl to upgrade the os ??

this is driving me crazy ,please help!!

I think a floppy is gonna be your only option then.

i'm going for the floppy then, but i have a last question :

i had an internal zip driver installed in the mpc2000xl before, and i 'm going to install the floppy driver ,but is the power cable/plug of the floppy compatible with what i have inside the mpc ?
