Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Yeah, when you save programs, doesn't it ask "save pgm with sounds?" and when you load them, you can choose to load all the sounds too that are associated with it ("load existing program & sounds too?" or something like that)? Maybe his issue is settings that load up by default off the flash, like for me I'm pretty sure it automatically asks if I want to save or load the sounds associated with the program when I'm messing with my programs...maybe that's something he needs to turn on and then save to the flash so it boots up with those settings; I'm not too interested in diving into my MPC right now.

Programs load up with their corresponding samples here.

You don't have to load a program, then load all the corresponding samples for that program individually, you are doing something wrong.

Yes! Got it sorted. It seems you lot aren't just better than us at cricket, Simon. I went back through and created programs and saved the programs and sounds to individual folders and my folders are now nicely organised and the programs load up with all of the sounds. No more random files sitting in the root folder and I can select whatever kit I want. My Renaissance is in for more neglect. Many thanks SimoninAustralia and The Jackal.
