I was saving many recently found samples last night and was about 15 samples deep into saving them when all of a sudden my zip (external 250mb) starts making this weird noise and won't finish saving then my MPC2000xl says there's a disk read errror, so im thinkning i wiped out my zip disc, but when I reboot my MPC and zip and CDrom, my MPC keeps saying no SCSI device and takes mad long to even tell me that much. Did I blow my SCSI fuse? And if so, how did that happen when I wasn't connecting or disconnecting anything. And also, will that wipe out my zip disc? Cause I tried putting my zip into a PC, and it keeps saying theres no disc, but when I go to properties, the computer tells me that there is an unrecognized format zip. That's because I formatted it with my MPC instead of a PC, right? And if thats the case, do I need another MPC to check if my disc is ok? HOlla back atcha boy, cause I cant focus on anything until I know if my beats are gone or not.
