Soldered in the 4.7 ohm resistor, made sure the cable was plugged in the right way, and oh my word an 808 kick has never sounded so good coming out of that piece of equipment. I'm so happy to have my baby back in the studio!!! Thank you all so much for all your help, you guys have been effing lifesavers....... now I can finally use my Allen and Heath 16:2 Mixer to its full potential

So I spaced the hell out and realized that on Star One's thread one member Sorin P had the exact same problem as I did with a 2k classic, with the same issues and same fix.... so I'm really sorry for giving y'all the runaround. But hey, I got introduced to a fantastic community!!

Thank you all so much again. I really appreciate all of the quick and informative and kind responses. You guys really made my week now I'm gonna make a t-shirt with the 2k schematic as celebration!! Hahaha
