I just picked up a very nice condition MPC2000XL with no issues that I'm aware of, but I can't get any pad to send a value less than 10, regardless of whether I use the stock pads or a new set of fat pads with V2 Corx. (I haven't checked the actual MIDI out data, but the MPC itself is never showing me a level less than 10.)
Every single pad (stock or fat) can trigger values between 10 and 127. I cannot for the life of me squeeze out a single-digit value. I checked the screen where you can set velocity level, and they're set to "100," which as far as I know means they should respond to the full range.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this expected behavior and no cause for concern? If it is an issue, and nothing that can be fixed in the settings, would this be solved with a new sensor array? Seems weird...
