max external scsi size for mpc2000

hi i've been trying to find what's the max recommended size for an external scsi drive to connect to the MPC2000. (not XL) with os1.7, i heard off Sound on sound its about 756mb is that right??

Max is something [theorectically] like 27 Gig.

I would recommend something like a 4.3 Gig drive. This particular size is quite common and literally being given away for pennies. The external case will run more than the drive.
