Buttons, knobs and pads stopped working

Out of nothing the 2000xl isn't responding to any buttons anymore. It boots normally, screen looks normal and the flash card reader blinks normal.
It happens after turning it on back home after doing a live set at a venue. It wasn't a smokers area and no drinks got spilled. But it might bumped into something..

Somebody can help me out what it might be?

i suspect it's the cables and connectors inside. Open up the bottom of the machine (you have the 2000xl, so you are kind of lucky) and every connector for the ribbon cables should be disconnected and reconnected to re-seat them properly. Same goes with the ram, and any other connectable thing inside.. be careful you disconnect stuff properly not to break anything.. and do them one at a time so you put them back in the right spot.

Disconnected all the cables and connected them again. One by one.
Still the same problem; not responding on anything..

Somebody knows somebody who has knowledge to fix this issue? Located in or around Amsterdam.

Boots up fine but no pads, buttons and knobs don't work? Hmmmm... did you totally take apart the MPC and check the other 2 circuit boards under the top panel?

A failed submaster clock was causing the problem. Its been fixed now and the 2000xl works again!

What where your steps in isolating the fault?
