One last question about gotek usb emulators

I finally got my gotek usb emulator working on my 2k and I'm gonna do a step to step complete guide for other users as I had to do a lot of forum-hopping to find all useful informations.
Hopefully somebody will find it of great use.

I still have one last problem with it tho: I have a 100 virtual floppy disks partitioned usb; I want to save an aps file on it and my mpc asks me to change disk: i change the partition with the front buttons but the mpc doesnt recognise the new one and still asks me to change disk first.
I plugged it out then back in again but it doesnt work..

One solution i thought of is to use another actual usb stick when i'm asked. (haven't tried it yet as I don't have one here). It might recognise it as a new one and that'll do. anyone has had the same problem or knows the solution?

That's the whole reason why I haven't bought one in the first place. I've seen this problem come up before and I haven't seen any solutions yet. If nobody has a solution, your best bet would be Magneto Optical. You can find drives under $30 and disks for around $5 a piece. It's still cheaper than a CF drive.
