Normally it is a JST 4 Pin connector on the Board...
But you can Google or Ebay ,CdRom Analog Cable.. it will fit but you need to have the wiring right or it will pop..

Hi I know this cable in that picture with that connector does not fit the mpc motherboard

Went to my Local electronic show even they dont have the connector, looks like it was a connector only desighned by Akai

you need to take a picture of this... because that is exactly the connector that fit on my 2000xl .. and everybody else's 2000xl on this forum.

yes.... the smaller connector (mini molex) fits in there... try turning the connector around until you can see it fitting... if you can't connect that together you should just forget about using the zip drive altogether.... or any other device because they will all use that same connector

the floppy molex connector will not work. OP will have to order or build/mod a cable connector to get it to connect to the motherboard. I've done this many times before. I'll try and find pictures of what I always do.
