PGM and .snd

hey, i know that the 2000, 2000xl, and 4000 can read and play .snd and .pgm files.......

can the 3000????

better yet....let me just ask.....what other hardware(and software) can read these two types of files.....can you list them for me??

Well it is not just enough to say that each one uses pgm and snd files. Some models use a newer format of the files and older models will not read these.

Each one can read the one below it but not the ones above it:

MPC4000?
MPC2000[xl]
MPC3000
MPC60 (can read MPC3k only with 3.1)

OH OK....WHAT ABOUT THE S900 OR S950 SAMPLERS????
OR ANY SOFTWARE....

to branch off of your question, are there any mac or pc programs that will let you hear your sample sounds if they are .snd files?
