Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

any of you dudes using a korg synth that uses nrpn's, my electribe does. i would like to know if i can use the mpc sequencer for paramters. for than 1 at a time.

This NRPN thing is a pain in the brain (eg it's *not* like good old recordable midi cc) but if you have a mac os x box then Numerology will do it for you.

Or... get the electribe esx1 (records more filter/fx params as Motion Sequences internally) instead, and avoid this nasty mess.

i have played with midi ox before to see what controller numbers it sends. it users controller #99/#98 in combination with say #3 for ' cutoff ' so its appready like, 99/98/3(30)/99/98/3(70)99/98/3(45), and so on 3 represents the changing value for the cutoff setting . i dont know why the **** they would make it this hard but it shits me.
