Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Ive just bought an mpc2000 off ebay, but the none of the pads work at all. i took it all apart and came to the conclusion that it was down to the pad sensors connections being worn out so have ordered new sensors. i just noticed this fuse looked a bit blown out and was wondering if anyone knew how bad it looked or if it could be effecting the pads? I'm new to this so am not clued up so any help would be very much appreciated, Thanks! The links bellow are just photos of the parts.

it's not the fuse. If the fuse was bad you wouldn't be able to turn on the MPC.
In the second pic, the contacts look tarnished/corroded. Lightly clean up the pad sensor contact points with some isopropyl alcoho and Q-tipl, wipe off/let dry and reinsert.
