Turntable for MPC 2000XL

Sup guys,

I been looking for a turntable for a long time and i cant decide which is the right one.
I want to use the turntable to record LPs directly to my MPC2000XL.

Can you guys recommend me a decent turntable or just give me some advice?

They are waaaay too expensive for me i guess^^

Numark PT-01 would work fine with MPC (any MPCs), without phono preamp, since it is already built-in (so it has line-out, instead of phono out)
However, I'd think that a cheap standard size turntable with an external phono preamp give you a much better sound quality.
For instance, American Audio TTD 2400 (listed on the same page, which is same price as PT-01),
with an external phono amp (ART DJ PRE II would be my recommendation) would be much better choice.

I am sorry for asking, but what does external phono preamp mean?

It is not that I want a perfect and clear sound, I want that old vinyl hip-hop sound, you know?

So does the turntable influences the sound of the vinyl while I am recording it into my MPC ?
