sample goes full volume on 8th hit

i got a few samples (a hat, a ride, and a snare) on my zip... i made a beat and saved it... when i just loaded it back up and played it i noticed that when these samples are triggered 8 times the 8th time they play they are extremely loud... even out of the sequence if i just tap the pad 8 times in a row the 8th time i tap it its really really loud... also there is an (st) beside the name of the sample when i view it in the pad assignment and trim screens... i have no clue what to do about this maybe someone could help me out... i would really appreciate it...

i had s hit like happen would have a clue on it they seem to go a bit mental somtime aye
i never counted the interval bettwen but 8 time sounds around the same as me

Some hits louder than others even when there is no
playback, yeah, I've had that happen, I can't explain it either.
