MPC and Midi

I want to use my MPC2000xl as midi trigger for rythym tracks. Is anybody doing this or am I wierd? If I normal, then how do I select patches from mpc thru synth?
Help me please

What exactly are you wanting to do? Use the MPC pads to play drums sounds on another synth or module? Use the MPC sequencer to do this same thing? Or maybe you want to use it to trigger the sequenced loops that EMU modules like the MoPhatt & XL-1 contain. None of this is weird.....

yeh i used a zoom rhtym trak as a module hooked up via midi. the sounds just sucked ballz though. you can controll pan, velo and pitch bend of the drum samples to. something unavaible from the units internal sequencer.
