internal zip clicking (is it blown?)

daaaamm! a friend told me that my zip drive (internal) is dead or busted becuase of the "CLICK OF DEATH" Is it messup up? I load my programs and sounds but after loading a couple of sounds it starts clicking and it reads DISK ERROR...i tried loading other zips but it does the same thing.
Am i better of getting an external flash rom drive? good looks on the future comments.....

yes, the zip is broken, it is the click of death.

Have u gotta send them some proof of purchase...The old zips...what?

Wonder if I can squeeze them for some Jaz Disks aswell

word up. i think i need to replace my zip drive and not the zip disks. i'm thinking about getting the smart media flash rom drive. any comments on those?
