there is no id switch on the back of the zip drive, i dont know what could be wrong, any sugesstions?

might be the wrong type of zip the one i use on my computer has no id and theone i use on the mpc has options of scsi 5 or 6 butit aint workin at the moment the bit of siht

Is should have an ID switch on the back. It's probably not a SCSI drive if it doesn't.
