I need to extract the sequence files from this all file. can someone do this for me it will greatly appreciated, for my 2000XL is off to get serviced.

Here is how you do it,
Load the ALL file then Save The sequences individually as MIDI TYPE 2
click here for......thanks clint.

I need these sequences badly!! its some old joint i did on my xl and I need to port it over to my 1000 to finish it, i already have the PGM so thats ok.

This is why i would love a program that dealt with this issue as well as PGM editors.

Basically NO backwards compatibility! only MIDI AND PGM files.
Akai's way of making you feel like why did I bother buy the 1000 when I cant even port over my old stuff. pointless.

Penfold where you getting your MPC serviced at?

I feel mine could definately do with some of that.
